About Sui

Sui is a Tehsil of Dera Bugti District in Balochistan. The Sui gas field is located near Sui town which is supplying gas for domestic users, industries and for CNG stations all over Pakistan. The area has gone through some serious security concerns for over the years but is now moving towards sustainability in terms of peace and growth. The people of Dera Bugti are very cooperative and are very keen to get their children educated. The area is rich for oil and gas resources, moreover is also rich with minerals. The population of the area is over 200,000 people according to the latest statistics available with government sources. Kashmor (Sindh) – the nearest railway station is well connected with Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan. Sui is located just 50 kilometers from Kashmor and 250 kms from DG Khan.

About TFGS Sui

The school was established in Tehsil Sui of District Dera Bugti in the year 1994. With the support from Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, the school was established to provide quality English medium education to the residents of Sui. Since then, the Foundation has played a key role in uplifting the education standard of the school.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited Welfare Trust played a vital role in developing the school and till date is one of the major partners of Taaleem Foundation. It has helped Taaleem Foundation in establishing this school. Moreover, it has also funded the construction of vocational training center and a campus for Virtual University of Pakistan at Sui, exclusively to economically empower women.

The school is able to accommodate over 1000 students and is the largest school in terms of student strength and capacity. Over the years, it has shown immense improvement in academic results and in operations. The school is being led by Ms. Kosar Ikram who is form Vehari. She has more than 24 years of teaching experience. She has got her Master’s degree from Islamic university, Bahawalpur. She joined Taaleem foundation in 2007 and worked at different positions since then. Currently she is working as an acting principal at Sui campus.

It comprises of 25 classrooms, multipurpose hall, staff room, science lab, computer lab and teachers’ hostel.
